1. For those who don't know who you are, give us a little info about yourself?
Im from Rotherham in UK and first hit the scene 5 years ago, initially it consisted of Imran better known as Immi. I have various influences in terms of my style of music coming from an Arabic background. Began singing in Arabic, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu and it soon became apparent that I would be destined for a future in music and has become a great interest for me.
Not long after, I performed at the Zee Carnival Mela in 2007 along side Shilpa Shetty showcasing my diversity in music which led to various other opportunities as well as performing at the Manchester Mela last year 2009 which was a hit with the crowd determining my career is going from strength to strength and there are sure to be many more years of further success.
This success has prompted him to release my debut solo album entitled ‘Ready 2 Shine’ and working alongside Twilight Promotions Records . This is only the beginning as I am appearing in a UK English movie called Cautious Steps and singing in a bollywood film.

2. How did you get into Music and now Singing, where did it all begin?
I started off by being voice of the week on VENUS TV I had a interest for this which lead to alot of complimants from people which eventually lead me onto singing and the first ever song I recorded was Har Pasay, which is track 1 on my album.
3.Your Debut Album "READY 2 SHINE" coming out soon! Tell us about it & What we can expect from it?
That's rite, the album has 9 songs and 2 which is the same song which is Dil Legai but has MC on there, Thrilla MC. The other version is Desi. There is a video supporting the track also and is viewable on my Facebook , Myspace and Youtube pages aswell as www.twilightrecordsuk.com and on the TV channels.
The album is UK urban and for the youth culture of Asians. It aint a Bhangra album however I have included 1 song. As I am Arabic background, the feel to the album is more modern and westernised for the music we get nowadays and offer something different.
4.UK Shox has just signed a deal to appear in an UK based English movie entitled “Cautious Steps” which he will be filming in the coming months ?
Thats correct, it is early stages so far so I don't want to give out too much however do log onto KDSDJ.com for further news.
5. What about Videos this time?
As in question 3, there is a video currently circulating the TV and Internet, Dil Legai. I am in the process of shooting 2 more videos and these will be ready by March time.

6. Who would you say has had the most influence on your singing career?
The singers who have influenced me are Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam and Mohammed Rafi.
7. Which Rapper are you rating at the moment?
I rate alot of rappers and Mc’s in the market and new comers. I do not have a specific favourite but they all have their own style, flow and preference and wish them well.
8. Gupsy Aujla or Gorilla Chilla?
They are both different and both very talented. Gupsy Ajula is a Bhangra musician wheras Gorilla Chilla is more Urban producer. Gupsy’s work is fantastic and I hope in the future I will work with him. He has the experience and knowledge and is a great person. But as this album was more modern I went for Gorilla Chilla as he is an upcoming producer and what I wanted for my debut album.

9. If there was one artist from the past or present that you would collaborate with, who would it be?
Two legends for me I would have the honour to work with however they are not with us anymore, The Late Great Ustaad Nusrat Fatheh Ali Khan and Mohammed Rafi.
10. There are not many big vocalists in the UK in the Bhangra industry. What do you think is halting the success of local vocalists getting into the limelight?
I think there is alot of big vocal artists in the UK. I do feel they do get there limelight and they offer something different to the listener. I know there is alot of talent also and newcomers which is healthly for our market in the UK and I wish them all well.
11.With the Single coming now, you must hope fans go out and support the album; do you have a message for the people who have decided to download your Single for free rather than purchase it legally?
